About Me

“We are blessed to be a blessing” ~ Beth Moore ‘Inheritance’

My purpose for writing is a desire that my journey will bring you hope and a desire in your heart to walk closer with the Lord.
My story isn’t that unique, divorce, loss. My journey with God isn’t that unique, He loves me, but He pressed on my heart to share our love story.

I humbly ask that you please pray for me in this sharing, to always remember these are His words, His teachings. I own none of it. I
am writing this because there lives this sinner in my soul, that will want to know you approve. [insert deep sigh] His approval is all that I need.

I am in such awe of God and all He has done in my life. From sorrow to joy, from ashes to solid ground. He blesses me, teaches me,
fills me with joy, with peace. I pray for you. That you find your own journey with God. Its as simple as asking. My journey took many years of
fruition. In retrospect I see His hands in all of it. I was just not seeing it while in the middle of it. I am far from perfect. But I am loved.

I pray for all that read these words. I pray you find hope, peace and an overwhelming joy that is possible only from a personal walk with Christ.
In the writing of this blog, I intend to be completely transparent. My journey is one of beauty, even the broken parts or maybe especially. I love the learning because God is in all of it. I feel blessed by the hardships, the missteps, the pain. I wish to inspire you to seek what I have found… an amazing love between God and I. Maybe I will make you laugh.. or at the very least, pause.

Love, Beckie Halaska
John 5:30 ESV

“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.
If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not deemed true.

Philippians 2:1-10 ESV

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, …
